questions regarding donations

I've had a few questions about ways to donate besides over the internet so I just wanted to provide you with other options.

Online - If you go to the team website you can donate there using a credit card.

Check or cash donation - If you prefer to make a donation using cash or check you have 2 options
1) You may mail your donation directly to my house. Then I will bring it to the walk personally and hand it in. If you are doing this please makes sure you mail your donation with enough time that I will have it by the day of the walk.
2) You may mail your donation directly to the Alzheimer Association, NYC chapter. Please go to

There you can fill out the donation form that must go along with the donation itself. Rememebr to write that the donation is for The Murphy Family team please.

All checks should be payable to the Alzheimers Association, New York City Chapter.



And if you are my friend on facebook, you received an event invitation regarding Memory Walk yesterday. That is another way to keep updated.

Thanks for all the support. It is amazing how many positive comments and support I have received in less than 24 hours of speading the news via facebook. It means a lot.
